Trading Terms
Last updated: 29 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-29
These Trading Terms govern the features of LongShort PRO that touch your own trading account: connecting an exchange or broker account, placing orders from the dashboard, Automation and copy trading (together, the Trading Features). They supplement our Terms of Service. If the two documents conflict on a Trading Feature, these Trading Terms prevail.
You do not need these Trading Terms to receive signals, use the demo account or view statistics. You accept them in the dashboard before your first step with real money. Please read them together with the Risk Disclosure and the Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
LongShort PRO is operated by Palina Keda, a sole proprietor entered in the Polish business register (CEIDG), NIP 9512640397, REGON 543931063, ul. Sarmacka 21 lok. 35, 02-972 Warszawa, Poland, email support@longshortpro.io (we, us, LongShort PRO).
2. Definitions
- Account — your own account with an exchange or broker.
- Trading Venue — the exchange or broker where your Account is held, for example Bybit or a broker on the cTrader platform.
- Connection — the access you give us to your Account: an API key you create, or an authorisation you grant through the venue's own login (for example, cTrader ID).
- Signals — trade ideas (direction, entry, stop-loss, take-profit and their updates) produced automatically by the LongShort PRO indicator. The same Signals go to all subscribers.
- Manual Order — an order you place by pressing "Enter trade" or by editing a trade in the dashboard.
- Automation — the feature that, once you switch it on for a strategy model, places, modifies and closes orders on your Account according to that model's Signals and your Parameters, without asking you before each trade.
- Parameters — the settings you choose for Automation: Trading Venue, strategy model, mode (set of timeframes) and risk per trade.
- Copy Trading — copying the LongShort PRO master account through the copy-trading service of a Trading Venue (currently Bybit).
- Restricted Jurisdiction and Restricted Person — as defined in Section A.
3. What the Trading Features are, and what they are not
3.1. The Trading Features are software tools. They pass orders to your own Account at your Trading Venue, either on your instruction (Manual Orders) or under the standing authorisation you give when you switch on Automation.
3.2. We never hold your money. Your funds stay with your Trading Venue. We do not accept deposits, make withdrawals or transfer funds. API keys must not carry withdrawal or transfer permissions. If we detect such a permission, we will refuse the key.
3.3. Signals are not personal advice. They are generated by an algorithm, they are the same for everyone, and they do not take into account your finances, goals, experience or tolerance for loss. Nothing in the Service is a personal recommendation or investment, tax or legal advice. You decide whether to use the Trading Features and with what Parameters.
3.4. We are not your broker. LongShort PRO is not a bank, investment firm, broker or crypto-asset service provider and does not hold an authorisation as one. Your Account, its margin, leverage, fees, liquidation rules and the execution of your orders are governed by your agreement with the Trading Venue.
3.5. We are independent of Bybit, Spotware Systems Ltd (cTrader), Hyperliquid, TradingView and Telegram. They do not endorse us and are not responsible for the Trading Features. We may receive commissions from some Trading Venues; see the Affiliate Disclosure. Bybit, cTrader, TradingView and Telegram are trademarks of their owners and are used here only to describe compatibility.
4. Who can use the Trading Features
You may use the Trading Features only if all of the following are true:
- you are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity;
- you have an active LongShort PRO subscription;
- you are not a Restricted Person (Section A);
- the laws of your country allow you to use the Trading Features and the services of your Trading Venue;
- you trade only for yourself, with your own Account, and not on behalf of or with money of other people.
5. How you accept these Terms, and what we record
5.1. You accept these Trading Terms in the dashboard by stating your country of residence and ticking the confirmations shown to you. Automation needs an additional, separate consent each time you switch it on or change its Parameters.
5.2. Each acceptance, consent and withdrawal is recorded with its date and time, the version of the text, your answers, your IP address, the country associated with that IP address and your browser identifier. We keep this record as evidence of what was agreed (see the Privacy Policy). You can see your current consents in Profile → Documents, and you can save or print this page at any time.
6. Connecting your Account
6.1. You connect an Account yourself, either by creating an API key at your Trading Venue and entering it in the dashboard, or by authorising LongShort PRO through the venue's login (for example, cTrader ID). Before you connect, we show you what access we ask for and what data we receive.
6.2. You must give us only the permissions the Trading Features need: reading account data and placing, modifying and cancelling orders. Never enable withdrawals or transfers. Use the IP whitelist we provide, where your Trading Venue supports it. Keep your venue login and two-factor authentication secure and do not share your LongShort PRO access with anyone.
6.3. We store API keys and access tokens encrypted on our servers and use them only to provide the Trading Features: to read your balance, positions and orders, and to place, modify and cancel orders as described in these Terms. We never use them for anything else and never share them except with the Trading Venue itself.
6.4. How to disconnect. You can stop the Trading Features at any time:
- switch Automation off in the Automation section;
- stop Copy Trading in the Automation section and in your Trading Venue;
- disconnect the Account in the dashboard — we delete the stored key or token;
- revoke the key or the authorisation at your Trading Venue (for cTrader: the Open API section of your cTrader ID; see cTrader Integration);
- switch the dashboard back to the demo account, or withdraw your acceptance of these Terms in Profile → Documents.
Disconnecting does not close your open positions. They stay on your Account, and from then on you manage them with your Trading Venue.
7. Manual Orders
7.1. A Manual Order is your instruction. Before you confirm it, the dashboard shows the instrument, direction, order type (limit or market), entry price, stop-loss, take-profit and the size calculated from your risk setting. Check them before you confirm.
7.2. We pass the order to your Trading Venue as instructed. The venue may reject it, fill it partially or fill it at a different price.
7.3. If the venue's minimum order size would make the risk of a trade higher than your setting, the dashboard tells you before you confirm. You decide whether to proceed.
8. Automation
8.1. Switching on. You choose the Trading Venue and Account, the strategy model, the mode and the risk per trade. Before Automation starts, we show you a consent that states these Parameters. Automation starts only after you tick it.
8.2. What you instruct. While Automation is on for a model, you instruct the LongShort PRO software to open, modify and close positions on your Account, following that model's Signals (including their updates and cancellations) and your Parameters, without asking you before each trade. This standing instruction is limited to the model, Account and Parameters you approved. Automation keeps using the risk per trade you approved, even if you later change the risk setting for Manual Orders. To change any Parameter of Automation, switch it off and on again and confirm a new consent.
8.3. How it behaves. Automation follows the model mechanically. It does not exercise judgement, does not assess whether a trade suits you and can open several losing trades in a row. It may skip a trade that it cannot place within your Parameters, for example because of the venue's minimum order size, missing market data or a venue error.
8.4. Switching off. You can switch Automation off at any time in the Automation section; it takes effect for new Signals immediately. Positions already open are not closed automatically. You can close them in the dashboard, where available, or with your Trading Venue.
8.5. Automatic stop. Automation stops when your subscription ends, when you withdraw your acceptance of these Terms, when your Connection stops working or is revoked, when we suspend the Trading Features under section 13 or Section A, or when we discontinue the model. We will tell you in the dashboard or in Telegram.
8.6. Demo account. Automation on the demo account is simulated, places no real orders and needs no consent.
9. Copy Trading
9.1. Copy Trading is a service of your Trading Venue (currently Bybit TradFi Copy Trading for MT5) and is governed by the venue's terms. LongShort PRO operates the master account "LongShort PRO Gold", which trades gold using the LongShort PRO algorithm and does not trade ahead of the publication of a signal.
9.2. Where it is available. Bybit does not offer copy trading to residents of the European Economic Area (including Poland), the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia or Japan (Bybit Copy Trading Terms, clause 3.3), and may add other countries. If you live in one of these countries, you must not use Copy Trading.
9.3. To copy it, you give us your Bybit UID so that we can add it to the master's whitelist. You set up copying, choose the amount you allocate and stop copying in Bybit. Bybit copies trades proportionally to that amount. Your results can differ from the master's because of the amount, rounding to the minimum lot, fees and timing.
9.4. Bybit may charge fees for copying and may pay us, as operator of the master account, a share of your copy-trading profits, as shown in Bybit before you start. Bybit also pays us affiliate commissions; see the Affiliate Disclosure.
9.5. We remove your UID from the whitelist when you stop Copy Trading in the dashboard, when your subscription ends or when you withdraw your acceptance of these Terms. What happens to copied positions when copying stops is decided by Bybit's rules.
10. Execution and service limits
10.1. We do not guarantee that any order will be placed, filled, or filled at a particular price. Between a Signal and an order there are several systems: TradingView, our servers, the network and the venue's API. Any of them can be slow or unavailable.
10.2. Trading Venues may change or limit their APIs, apply rate limits, reject orders, change margin requirements or liquidate positions. We have no control over this.
10.3. Signals may be updated or cancelled after they are issued. Manual trades with your own stop-loss and take-profit follow your levels. Automated trades follow the model's updates.
10.4. We keep system logs of Signals, orders, Connections and consents. We use them, together with any evidence you give us, to establish what happened.
11. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- monitoring your Account, positions, margin and leverage settings at your Trading Venue;
- keeping enough funds on your Account and understanding the venue's fees, funding and liquidation rules;
- choosing Parameters whose possible losses you can afford;
- keeping your Connection and logins secure and telling us immediately at support@longshortpro.io if you suspect unauthorised access;
- telling us promptly if you notice an execution error, so that we can investigate while the logs are fresh;
- your taxes on trading results.
12. Fees
The Trading Features are currently included in your LongShort PRO subscription. Your Trading Venue charges its own trading fees, spreads, funding and, for Copy Trading, any profit share. These are not paid to us, except for commissions described in the Affiliate Disclosure.
13. Suspension and termination
13.1. By you. You can stop using the Trading Features at any time (section 6.4). You can withdraw your acceptance of these Terms in Profile → Documents. Withdrawing switches the dashboard to the demo account, switches Automation off on the real account, cancels real-account entries that have not yet been sent to your Trading Venue and stops Copy Trading, and we delete stored API keys and tokens within 24 hours. Signals and the demo account remain available under the Terms of Service.
13.2. By us. We may suspend or end your access to the Trading Features, with a short explanation unless the law forbids it:
- to protect your Account or our systems, for example after a suspected leak of a key;
- if you breach these Terms, including Section A;
- if a law, a regulator, a court or a Trading Venue requires it;
- if a Trading Venue or Spotware stops our access to its API;
- if we stop offering a Trading Feature, with at least 30 days' notice unless that is impossible for reasons outside our control.
13.3. When your subscription ends, the Trading Features stop. We delete stored API keys and tokens when you disconnect, or no later than 30 days after your subscription ends.
14. Liability
14.1. We are responsible for providing the Trading Features as described in these Terms and in line with the law. If you are a consumer, you have the statutory rights described in the Terms of Service, and nothing in these Trading Terms limits them.
14.2. We are not liable for trading losses that result from the market or from Signals turning out to be unprofitable while the Trading Features work as described, from Parameters you chose, or from acts and failures of Trading Venues, Spotware, TradingView, Telegram, network providers or other third parties outside our reasonable control.
14.3. If you use the Trading Features as a business, our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in those 12 months, and we are not liable for loss of profit or indirect loss.
14.4. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Trading Terms for the reasons in section 18.1 of the Terms of Service, and when we add or discontinue a Trading Feature. A new version applies to you once you accept it. We ask you to accept it before your next step with real money. Until you do, Trading Features that need it are paused, and everything else keeps working. Changes to Section A required by sanctions or by law take effect on publication (A.9).
16. Law, complaints and disputes
These Trading Terms are governed by the same law and complaint and dispute rules as the Terms of Service. Questions and complaints: support@longshortpro.io.
Section A. Restricted Jurisdictions
A.1. Definitions.
"Restricted Jurisdictions" means:
(a) the United States of America, including its states, territories and possessions;
(b) the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland;
(c) Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Syria, Crimea, Sevastopol and the areas of Ukraine's Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions not controlled by the Government of Ukraine, and any other country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions of the EU, the UN, the United States or the United Kingdom;
(d) any other country where use of the Trading Features is prohibited by law or requires a licence that we do not hold.
"Restricted Person" means an individual who:
(a) is a U.S. citizen, a U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or a resident or tax resident of the United States;
(b) permanently or mainly resides in a Restricted Jurisdiction;
(c) is located in a Restricted Jurisdiction when using the Trading Features; or
(d) is listed on any sanctions list of the EU, the UN, the United States or the United Kingdom, or acts on behalf of such a person.
A.2. The Trading Features are not offered or provided to Restricted Persons. We do not market the Trading Features in Restricted Jurisdictions. Access to signals and analytical materials is not an offer of financial services in any jurisdiction.
A.3. By accepting these Trading Terms, you represent and warrant that you are not a Restricted Person and will remain so for as long as you use the Trading Features. We rely on this representation and have no obligation to verify it.
A.4. If your circumstances change, for example you move to or are present in a Restricted Jurisdiction, you must immediately stop using the Trading Features, switch off Automation and disconnect your Accounts.
A.5. You must not use a VPN, proxy or any other means to conceal your country of residence or location, provide false information, or use another person's account.
A.6. We may at any time ask you to confirm your country of residence. Where we have reasonable doubts, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Trading Features without prior notice. Automation is then switched off and account access is revoked. Open positions remain in your Account with the Trading Venue, and you alone manage them. Access to signals and other features of the Service continues unless prohibited by law.
A.7. The representation in A.3 is a material term of these Trading Terms. If it is untrue, you are liable under applicable law for the damage this causes us, which may include fines imposed on us and reasonable legal costs.
A.8. You are responsible for checking whether the laws of your country of residence allow you to use the Trading Features and the services of your chosen Trading Venue.
A.9. We may add to the list of Restricted Jurisdictions. Changes required by sanctions or by law take effect on publication. You will be notified via Telegram.
