Risk Disclosure
Last updated: 29 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-29
Trading leveraged products — perpetual futures, CFDs and other derivatives — carries a high risk of losing money quickly. You can lose all the money you deposit with your exchange or broker. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Past performance, actual or simulated, is not a reliable indicator of future results.
This document explains the main risks of using LongShort PRO: our signals, statistics, demo account, and the features that act on your own trading account. It is part of our Terms of Service and Trading Terms. It cannot list every risk.
1. Who we are and what we are not
LongShort PRO is operated by Palina Keda, a sole proprietor registered in Poland (NIP 9512640397), ul. Sarmacka 21 lok. 35, 02-972 Warszawa, support@longshortpro.io.
We are not a bank, investment firm, broker or crypto-asset service provider. We do not hold an authorisation from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) or any other financial regulator. We never hold your money. You do not benefit from any investor compensation scheme or deposit guarantee in your dealings with us.
2. Nature of our signals
- Our signals are general, non-personalised opinions about the possible future price of an instrument. They are produced by a rules-based indicator and are identical for every subscriber.
- They do not take into account your objectives, financial situation, knowledge, experience or tolerance for loss, and they are not a personal recommendation.
- Entry, stop-loss and take-profit levels are projections, not facts or promises. The price can move through any level without a fill.
- Signals can be updated or cancelled after publication.
- Subscribers can see the full history of published signals in the dashboard, including losing and cancelled ones.
3. General risks of trading
- You can lose everything. You can lose all the money you deposit with your exchange or broker, and in some cases more.
- Leverage multiplies both gains and losses. A small price move against your position can wipe out your margin.
- Volatility and gaps. Prices can move sharply on news, at weekends, overnight and when markets reopen. A stop-loss can be filled far from its level.
- Liquidity. In fast or thin markets you may be unable to enter or exit at the price you want.
- Costs. Fees, spreads, funding and swaps reduce your results and are not included in our statistics.
- Taxes. You are responsible for taxes on your trading.
4. Crypto-assets and perpetual futures
The European supervisory authorities (EBA, EIOPA and ESMA) warn consumers that most crypto-assets are highly volatile, that you can lose a large part or all of the money you invest, and that when you deal with firms not regulated in the EU you may have no consumer protection. There is no investor compensation scheme for crypto-assets.
Perpetual futures (for example on Bybit or Hyperliquid) carry additional risks:
- Liquidation. If your margin falls below the maintenance level, the exchange closes your position, usually at a loss and with a liquidation fee.
- Mark price. Liquidations and stops may be triggered by the exchange's mark or index price, which can differ from the last traded price you see.
- Funding. While a position is open, you pay or receive funding every few hours. It can be large in volatile markets and is not included in our statistics.
- Auto-deleveraging. If liquidations cannot be absorbed, the exchange may close part of profitable positions, including yours, without your instruction.
- Exchange risk. An exchange may halt trading, change contract rules, restrict your country, freeze withdrawals, be hacked or become insolvent. Your funds there are not protected by any deposit or investor compensation scheme.
- Decentralised venues such as Hyperliquid add smart-contract, oracle, bridge and validator risks. Transactions are irreversible.
- Regulation. Perpetual futures may be restricted or unavailable to retail clients in your country. You are responsible for checking that you may lawfully trade them.
5. CFDs (for example gold and the Nasdaq index)
CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You do not own the underlying asset. Your broker is your counterparty and sets prices, spreads, swaps and margin rules. Prices can gap over weekends, market closures and news, so a stop-loss may be filled at a much worse price. Overnight financing (swap) and widening spreads reduce results. If your margin falls below your broker's close-out level, your positions may be closed automatically.
ESMA has reported that between 74% and 89% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. Each broker publishes its own percentage. Read it before you trade.
6. Automation, one-click orders and API access
When you use "Enter trade", our software sends the order you confirmed. When you switch Automation on, our software places and closes orders on your account according to our signals and the risk you set, without asking you before each trade. In both cases:
- Orders may be delayed, partially filled, filled at a worse price (slippage) or rejected. Stops are not guaranteed and may be filled far from their level in fast markets or across gaps.
- Your results will differ from our signal statistics because of timing, fees, funding, spreads, slippage, position rounding, minimum order sizes and your leverage.
- Position size is calculated from your risk percentage and the distance to the stop. If the stop is not filled at its level, your loss can exceed your chosen risk and, with leverage, can reach your entire margin.
- Our servers, the exchange or broker, TradingView, Telegram or internet providers can fail. A signal may be missed or delayed, or an open position may stay unmanaged until the failure is fixed.
- Software can contain errors.
- Automation follows the strategy mechanically and can open several losing trades in a row.
- API keys. Give our service trade-only permissions, never withdrawal rights, and restrict keys to our server IP where possible. Anyone who obtains your key could trade your account. You can revoke a key at any time at your exchange.
- You remain responsible for your account. Monitor it, keep enough margin, and switch Automation off if you no longer accept these risks.
7. Copy trading of our master account
- Your account copies the trades of our master account automatically, in proportion to the amount you allocate. Trades below the minimum size may be rounded or skipped, so your results can differ from the master's.
- Losses are copied as well as gains. Be prepared to lose the whole amount you allocate to copying.
- The master account's past results, rankings or risk scores do not predict future results.
- Copy trading is a service of the exchange and is not available in every country (see the Trading Terms).
8. Statistics, backtests and the demo account
- Statistics are calculated from the entry, stop and target levels of our published signals. They are not results of a real account. They exclude trading fees, spreads, slippage, funding, swaps and taxes, and assume no leverage and fills exactly at signal levels. Real trading results will be lower and can be negative.
- Backtests are simulated. Simulated results have inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, they do not represent actual trading. Because the trades were not actually executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for market factors such as lack of liquidity, slippage, fees and funding. The indicator rules were designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
- The demo account is a simulation with virtual funds. Fills are simulated; real accounts face fees, slippage and rejected orders. Demo results are not evidence of future real results.
- Testimonials from users may not be representative of other users' experience and are not a guarantee of future results.
Past performance, actual or simulated, is not a reliable indicator of future results. Do not base a decision only on these figures.
9. Conflicts of interest
We have financial interests that may conflict with yours:
- Affiliate commissions. Bybit pays us a share of the trading fees of users who join through our link — up to 50%, and the share rises with the total fees of the users we refer. Brokers we link to may pay us too. We therefore earn more when you trade more often or with larger size, including through Automation.
- Master account. We operate a master account that trades our signals and is offered for copy trading. It does not trade ahead of the publication of a signal. Its fills can be better or worse than yours.
- Profit share. We may receive a share of the profits of users who copy the master account, as set in the exchange's copy-trading service.
- Subscriptions. Our subscription revenue depends on how our results look. To limit this bias, we publish every signal and keep the full history, including losing and cancelled signals.
Signals are generated by the same rules for every user and are not changed to increase commissions. Details: Affiliate Disclosure.
10. Where the Trading Features are not available
The Trading Features are not offered to U.S. persons, residents of or persons located in the United Kingdom, or persons in sanctioned countries and regions (Section A of the Trading Terms). You are responsible for checking that the laws of your country allow you to use our Service and the services of your exchange or broker.
11. What we will never do
We never guarantee profits. We never ask you to send money to us or to any wallet for trading, never ask for your exchange password, seed phrase or withdrawal-enabled API keys, and never offer bonuses for deposits with a broker. Our team will not contact you first with investment offers. If someone claiming to be LongShort PRO does any of this, it is a scam: report it to support@longshortpro.io.
12. Questions
If you do not understand these risks, do not trade, and consider getting independent financial advice. Questions: support@longshortpro.io.
